Bad Movie Podcast

We did it! All 10 movies in the bag before the Oscars. This week we shake...... things up with a little Shakespeare and this movie has all the tragedy that one his plays would have. Give it a watch and then give us a listen to find out why Romero has this one as his new #1 favorite for this year's nominations.

We're so close to the end of Oscar films, but now it's time to learn the value of Sentiment. This week we travel to Norway to review the 2025 drama film, Sentimental Value. Gil is out this week, but Romero & Zach are here to review this emotionally heavy, but well crafted film. Check out this film and then give us a listen.

This week we review what some would describe as a sports comedy movie (we wouldn't), Marty Supreme. Is Marty Supreme a surprise slam dunk, a cinematic double fault, or just Uncut Gems with ping pong? Join us as the gang gives our hot takes and plenty of spin. Sorry for some of the audio issues on this one.

This week we're going undercover with The Secret Agent, where the spies are tense, the glances are loaded, and absolutely no one is emotionally available. Wager Moura stars in this political thriller and Romero & Zach are here to give you their thoughts. You'll be impressed and then stop to say "wtf?"

All aboard for our deep dive into Train Dreams, the movie that proves two things: trains are loud, and feelings are louder. We unpack sweeping landscapes, stoic stares, and the kind of emotional turmoil that pairs beautifully with a distant train whistle. Did all of us like it? No. Grab your conductor's hat and hop on—we're riding the rails of prestige cinema, one existential crisis at a time.

We're going left and left again with this review of F1! We're at the half-way point of our Oscar best picture nominee reviews and this week we review a film about a washed up Brad Pitt character trying to make it in Formula 1. Give us a listen and get ready for these exciting turns, pardon the pun.

Gil is out this week, but Romero and Zach put on our tin-foil hats and dive into this maybe/maybe not sci-fi thriller.

We're kicking off 2026 with getting a jump on the oscar best picture nominees by starting with the Paul Thomas Anderson film, One Battle After Another. The list isn't officially out yet, but we have a strong feeling about this one. Join us as we journey through Leo's journey from revolutionary to washed up dad trying to rescue his daughter from crazy Sean Penn. Give us a listen and keep tuning in because we plan to review all of the best picture nominees this year.

Alright, we're a few weeks behind, but we finally have a review for the 3rd film in this series, Avatar: Fire and Ash. Did you just blue yourself? Becuase if you did, that means you're headed back to Pandora yet again. The Sully family continues their fight for survival on Pandora, but this time they have to deal with not just humans, but the Ash People as well. Give thanks to Eywa and then give us a listen.
