The value of butter in the Chicago Mercantile Exchange has dropped by half since September of last year. This may be good for the consumer…but the butter and cheese industries are taking a big hit, losing out on millions of dollars. Meanwhile China, who in the past imported about a third of our soybean crops, has not purchased any soybean at all this season.
