Bad Things

Reviewing the worst of the worst - so you don't have to!

Nathan and Jacob grab their guitars and dig out their tightest leather trousers for their review of the 2013 movie musical Rock of Ages!

An adaptation of the Broadway show of the same name, Rock of Ages features songs from the likes of Journey, Foreigner, Poison, and Quarterflash(?) performed by Russell Brand, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Alec Baldwin, and Tom Cruise - no, really!

The Bad Things boys deal with a paper thin plot, buttock-clenching dialogue, dodgy portrayals of gay love, and SO. MANY. SONGS.

Nathan and Jacob get their spice on as they review the debut (and thus far only) studio album by Posh Spice - Victoria Beckham.

The last of the Spice Girls to release a solo record, VB's album features cheesy ballads, pseudo-R&B numbers, and... not much else.

The Bad Things boys get to grips with a thoroughly bland album, as well as Victoria's other solo efforts, her's and David's insane wedding, and her obsession with the date and time.

It's been months in the making, but Nathan Packham and Jacob Simmons finally sit down to review the absolute carwreck that is Movie 43.

What happens when over a dozen big name celebrities perform a series of nauseating sketches mixed in with a non-sensical plot about gangsters, cougars, and the apocalypse.

Chris Pratt takes some laxatives, Batman and Robin go speed dating, Elizabeth Banks gets run over by a cat, and Hugh Jackman... well, see for yourself.

Nathan and Jacob kick off 2021 (a month into the year) with their review of Robbie Williams' 2006 electro-rap album, Rudebox.

The Bad Things Boys talk about Robbie's turbulent history in the music business, before getting to grips with nearly 75 minutes of obscene lyrics, horrendous rapping, weird guest stars, bonkers covers, and a song called "D*ckhead".

What a way to start the year.

It's the Bad Things 2020 Christmas Special!

As voted for you by you, Nathan Packham and Jacob Simmons dig into the Christmas feast that is 1998's Jack Frost.

After his tragic death in a car accident, Michael Keaton comes back to life as a snowman to spend one last Christmas with his son. If that doesn't get you in the Christmas spirit, nothing will.

Nathan and Jacob have all the trimmings with this one; bad acting, atrocious special effects, dialogue to make your skin crawl, and a snowman puppet that is actually the stuff of nightmares.

Ho Ho Holy Crap.

The worst songs to ever (dis)grace the top of the UK charts - this is Extra Bad!

Nathan and Jacob hop into their musical time machine to review their five least favourite UK number one singles from every single decade (except the 50s).

This time around, it's the 1970s; a decade neither of our hosts are particularly fond of. Their choices include Eurovsion entries, farmers, small children, and novelty songs galore.

Will the 70s live up to their low expectations? There's only one way to find out.

Reviewing the worst of the worst - so you don't have to!

Nathan and Jacob head to X-Factorland one more time as they review the journey of one Eoghan (pron. Owen) Quigg.

Not only do they cover his time on the show, but the Bad Things Boys also talk about Eoghan's one and only studio album; a bizarre array of covers and one original song that has to be heard to be believed.

You've waited a long time for this one, so enjoy!

Bad Things launches its brand new venture - this is Extra Bad!

Nathan and Jacob hop into their musical time machine to review their five least favourite UK number one singles from every single decade (except the 50s).

They kick things off in style with one of the biggest and best decades in musical history - the 1960s.

Join the Bad Things boys as they get into some of the worst music to grace the top of the UK charts, including a Beatles song gone wrong, a Freudian narrative, and a cameo from Pauline Fowler off Eastenders.

Also witness the birth of Jacob's Brian Epstein impression!
