Liz is a passionate advocate, educator, and storyteller dedicated to creating space for honest conversations about living with metastatic breast cancer. As a podcast host for For The Breast Of Us, Liz brings authenticity, humor, compassion, and lived experience to conversations that empower people affected by breast cancer. Liz is living with estrogen receptor-positive, progesterone receptor-positive, HER2-ultralow metastatic breast cancer, and she uses her lived experience to bring a deeply personal perspective to the conversations she hosts. Through storytelling and meaningful dialogue, she helps amplify voices, challenge misconceptions, and remind listeners that a cancer diagnosis does not define the fullness of a person’s life.

Today on Baddie2Baddie, we’re tackling one of the most personal and often overlooked topics in the breast cancer community- fertility and motherhood after a cancer diagnosis. Hosted by Cynthia, this roundtable brings together incredible women: Jovonsia, Linley, and Na'Diah, to share their real-life journeys through cancer survivorship, fertility preservation, and the emotional rollercoaster of trying to build a family after treatment.

Lynley Moses is a Neuro Exercise Physiologist and public health professional with specialized experience in rehabilitation, patient wellness, and community advocacy. A breast cancer survivor and dedicated advocate, she brings a unique blend of clinical expertise, leadership, and compassion to her work. As the founder of A Cup of Christ, Lynley leads initiatives that support women’s spiritual and emotional well-being while fostering community engagement and service. She is committed to advancing patient-centered care and creating meaningful pathways for empowerment and healing.

Na’Diah Smith is a native of Jackson, Mississippi, who resides in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and works as a Global Advisory Technology Enablement Management Consultant at KPMG. She holds a BS in Business Administration and Marketing from Xavier University of Louisiana and an MBA from Jackson State University, is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, and describes herself as a radical flower child driven by love and purpose. Diagnosed at 33 with early-stage breast cancer (DCIS, ER+, PR+, HER2-) while in the best shape of her life and with no family history, Na’Diah turned her search for answers into a calling. She has evolved from survivor to thriving advocate, using her voice through speaking, media, and partnerships with organizations including For the Breast of Us, Tigerlily Foundation, Susan G. Komen, Sisters Network of Dallas, and others to raise awareness, address health disparities, and stand in the gap for young women and Women of Color. Seven years after her diagnosis, Na’Diah’s story came full circle when she welcomed her miracle baby boy on February 10, 2023, a living testament that there is life, hope, and joy after cancer.

Dr. Cynthia Johnson is a passionate advocate, educator, and community builder who has dedicated much of her life to uplifting and empowering women of color impacted by breast cancer. First diagnosed with Stage II Invasive Ductal Carcinoma in 2018, she underwent a lumpectomy, chemotherapy, radiation, and hormone therapy. After completing treatment, Cynthia turned her personal journey into purpose, lending her voice, skills, and leadership to create awareness, build community, and push for health equity.

Just a few years after both of her sisters were also diagnosed with breast cancer, Cynthia's advocacy took on even greater urgency when, in May 2025, she was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer to the lining of her lung. Through her work with For the Breast of Us and initiatives like Breast Cancer BaddieCon, Cynthia continues to highlight the unique challenges and disparities that women of color face in cancer care while building vibrant spaces of support, education, and empowerment. In February 2019, during her second year of graduate school in Michigan, Arlene was diagnosed with stage 1 invasive ductal carcinoma, characterized as 15% ER positive. Far from her family and friends, she navigated this challenging period with the support of her classmates, whom she barely knew when she began the program. Her journey began when she discovered a lump during a routine school doctor checkup, leading to her diagnosis. Despite the initial shock and isolation, Arlene's steadfast spirit enabled her to overcome cancer while pursuing her academic goals.

Aisha Morgan is a wife and mother of a 4 year old daughter. When she isn’t working as an educator she enjoys spending time with her family exploring the city. Aisha likes to cook, workout and travel. In March of 2022 she was diagnosed with Her 2+ stage 1 invasive ductal carcinoma in her left breast. Her treatment included chemotherapy, a double mastectomy and reconstruction with implants. She received training to become an Angel Advocate and is currently trying to find her place as an advocate in the breast cancer community.

Tamika Baker is a 48 year old triple negative breast cancer survivor. She is a mother of three young men, the youngest of four, and originally from Atlanta Georgia but lives in Houston Texas. Tamika was diagnosed at the age of 45 after founding my

Angel Thompson is a resilient 33-year-old Black woman from Washington, DC. In October 2021, at the age of 30, she faced the challenge of a lifetime when diagnosed with Stage 1, Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (breast cancer). Despite breast cancer not running in her family and her first oncologist initially dismissing it, Angel's determination led her to request documentation in her chart and seek a second opinion. It wasn't until then that she underwent a mammogram and biopsy, revealing the true nature of her diagnosis.  Since that pivotal moment, Angel's journey has been marked by strength, perseverance, and the unwavering support of those around her. She had her chemo port placed before starting chemotherapy, an additional step in this challenging process. Angel underwent a lumpectomy and lymphadenectomy on January 12, 2022, followed by a courageous decision to start the IVF process in February, which she later opted out of. Her four rounds of chemotherapy (Docetaxel &Cyclophosphamide) unfolded from March 9 to May 10, 2022, while 20 rounds of radiation concluded on July 15, 2022.Even after these treatments, her monthly Zoladex injections and Zometa infusions every six months will continue for the next 4 years. These ongoing treatments serve as a reminder that healing is a constant journey.

As a breast cancer Survivor and Advocate, Angel leverages her journey to champion awareness and support, contributing to meaningful change. She actively engages in public discourse through speeches, podcasts, and interviews, sharing insights and fostering dialogue on breast cancer awareness, survivorship, and the importance of support networks.
