TL;DR: Ocean 1.0 was a fantastic service opportunity that met the existing demand for digital search capabilities within Baha'i writings, blending technology with a passion for accessibility and knowledge sharing. I had so many hopes for Ocean but so little time. The result was so limited that I almost named it 'lake'. But overall it was a very rewarding project.

This quick guide highlights its key features, historical value, and how it enhances Bahá'í literature research. This project attempted to bridge technologies to make this old publication accessible.

“Reflections on the First Century of the Formative Age” by The Universal House of Justice highlights a century of growth and spiritual progress in the Bahá’í community. This letter compares the journey to a sunrise, showcasing unity, resilience, and spiritual transformation. It vividly portrays the Bahá’í Faith's evolution from its dramatic birth -- against all odds -- into a global influence, emphasizing courage in adversity and a hopeful, united future.

“The Constitution of the Universal House of Justice” is a document that defines the administrative procedures of the Universal House of Justice, the supreme administrative institution of the Bahá’í Faith. This document embodies the Guardian's promise that “when this Supreme Body will have been properly established, it will have to consider afresh the whole situation, and lay down the principle which shall direct, so long as it deems advisable, the affairs of the Cause” The Constitution's authority, duties, and sphere of action are derived from the revealed Word of Bahá’u’lláh, along with the interpretations and expositions of the Centre of the Covenant and the Guardian of the Cause. These elements form the binding terms of reference and foundational bedrock of the Universal House of Justice.
