Surprise!! Here comes something slightly unusual but not too much. A weird cover/arrangement of Bahamut Lagoon, a rather obscure Squaresoft JRPG from the 90s that was never officially released outside Japan but some passionate people of the internet managed to get it 100% localized in english for everyone (I mean, everyone who knows english) to enjoy.

The ruined/chocobo/bird version was made to participate in the monthly contest of Pixel Mixers, a videogame music community. Obviously no one would expect this to win, but my intention is not to get any top place anywhere but just bringing some laughs to make the world a funnier place. Hopefully I'll succeed on this, once certain part and instrument comes...

I can't think of Bahamut Lagoon without thinking of Byuu / Near. That genius who worked that pasionately for games emulation and romhacking in general and this game in particular until they managed to release what might be considered as one of the highest efforts and best works in fan game localizations. The end of their story is a pretty tragic one that shows how insanely horrible some people and places of the internet can be and I rather don't describe here. But I just felt like I should show some kind of homage to their work and passion on this someway.
