Assassin high school girls, a tale as old as anime itself. But can Lycoris Recoil breathe some fresh air into this well trod idea? To really get to the heart of the answer, we have a special guest high school girl, Jade! We do not believe she is an assassin, unless Jason doesn’t come back. Then be very suspicious.

We wolf down the second season of The Devil Is A Part Timer but find ourselves dealing with a slight bit of indigestion from what we find. Does the new animation style leave us with a bad taste in our mouths? Or are we just full of our own . . . baka?

When you are building a world like Cyberpunk Edgerunners, where style takes precedent over substance, Studio Trigger is the one you call. When you need that anime reviewed by three idiots, Jeremy, Jason and Troy are the right bakas for the job. We have yet another heated review turned argument about the latest Netflix hit!

The anime I’m Quitting Heroing is either a tropey mid tier anime or the best manager’s seminar you will ever attend. We discuss this fantasy anime but did we find layers hiding beneath it’s generic appearance?

Money or friends? That’s the theme the characters of Tomodachi Game must explore. But how far are they willing to go to answer that question? As a podcast that makes absolutely no profit on anything we do, we know our choice. Money. Every time. Image the quality of hosts we could hire if we had money. It’s the best!
