God Answers

2. Our questioning God is often rooted in our unbelief and lack of trust.

Romans 1:5 (NIV) – [5] Through him [Jesus Christ] and for his name’s sake, we received grace and apostleship to call people from among all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith.

3. God isn’t just looking for obedience; He is looking for obedience that comes from faith.

“Darken” means to withhold light from, to hide, to obscure, to confuse.

“Counsel” means the plans, purposes, and wisdom of God.

4. When we use human reasoning to define God, we distort the truth, and we darken His counsel.

5. We don’t just need more information ABOUT God; we need a greater revelation OF God.
