Fun loving, talented photographer Pooya Nabei shares his multilayered story and experiences moving from Iran to Canada at the tender age of 17. He walks us through adjusting to a new culture, language, social dynamic and more. Pooya's wonderful journey of growing through his curiosities in photography and the arts which ultimately he made into a career.  His optimism to try new things, explore and immerse himself  into Canadian culture and lifestyle was, and still is courageous. He explains from an immigrants point of view how he struggled and still struggles with the balancing act of a Canadian Pooya vs Iranian Pooya. "It's a constant struggle as an immigrant because you are always thinking about who you are, who you want to be, and how you want to go forward." -Pooya Nabei (aka: the dude with the wicked hair!)
