Today I am talking with Kim West, mother, wife, and licensed professional counselor, on the show today, she shines a light on the shifts and changes that take place in life. Specifically. Kim’s personal journey received a sudden shift about 10 years ago, she had to make some tough decisions and address important issues that many of us face on our journey. 

Here are some of the highlights of our conversation:

• Kim is an ambitious woman with high goals and dreams; she had her plan and took advantage of all the opportunities along her path. But when life happened, she had to make some tough decisions and shift her dreams to fit the life that was being dealt to her.  
• For many of us, the pursuit of our ambitions is quite easy, when we are young, we dream about what we want to be when we grow up. As we get older, we begin to put our dreams into action by taking the necessary steps to make them a reality. 
• But what I am discovering is, we never really know what tomorrow will bring, or how we will respond to life events that alter our plans.  Kim shares with us how the pivots in life can set us on a totally different course and direction.
