These are issues na hindi lang basta about food, places or events, pero merong religious significance, may disagreements among Christians, yung iba sobrang big deal ito, yung iba naman it's no big deal. Pero kung hindi tayo wise and careful kung paano magrespond sa mga ganitong issues, it may cause disunity sa church, it may discourage or harm our fellow believers...

We are so preoccupied in making sure that we are in a status or standing na approved ng mga tao. We forget what is most important regarding our status. Ang nagdedefine ng value or worth natin, yung identity natin ay nakakabit sa relasyon natin sa Diyos.

The gospel is all about Jesus. Si Jesus na namuhay sa mundong ito na isang single man, walang asawa, no sexual relationship, pero fully satisfied sa relasyon niya sa Diyos Ama. Single, pero the happiest man who walked on earth. Pero yung kanyang pagiging single was just part of the story. Dahil ngayon engaged siya to be married to a Bride, the Church, kabilang tayo dun.

May we always remember that we are great sinners, until now, but we have a great Savior, his name is Jesus. Ang buhay natin ay dahil sa kanya. Ang buhay natin ngayon ay para sa kanya. Ang buhay natin ay ang makasama siya forever and ever. One day, sex will be no more, sexual sins will be no more. All we have is Christ. And he is more than enough for us, for all of us.

Admittedly, we don't handle conflicts very well. Maybe because yung culture natin ay shame-based. Pero mas malamang na explanation or reason ay dahil sa pride at self-centeredness, at pati na rin yung failure natin to apply the gospel to our prideful hearts in fixing our relational problems.

Ang pag-practice ng church discipline, bagamat hindi normal sa ibang mga churches, it is not abnormal. It is part of ordinary Christian life. Wag kang magtaka pag dinidisiplina ka. Kasi kapamilya ka. Magtaka ka kung hindi ka dinidisiplina at pinapabayaan ka lang sa kasalanan.

We don't decide for ourselves kung ano ang tama patungkol sa sex or any relationship. Hindi kung ano ang gusto natin, hindi kung ano ang socially and culturally acceptable...Ang standard at boundary natin ay kung ano ang sinasabi ng Diyos. We don't take church discipline and holiness seriously because we take our sins or that of others lightly.

Kung mali ang reasons or motivations mo sa involvement sa ministry - whatever kind of ministry - magiging mali din ang approach mo sa mga gagawin mo sa ministry. The "Why" of doing ministry affects the "How" of doing ministry.

We must not let ourselves or anyone else be judged in the court of human opinion. It is God's opinion that matters. Yun ang totoo. What God says about you trumps all other opinions. Ang papuri, parangal, at approval na galing sa Diyos sa araw na yun ay a million times better than sa mga panandaliang papuri, parangal at approval na matatanggap natin sa mga tao ngayon.
