Ball Hawks Podcast

Chris and Steve of the Ball Hawks Podcast are back for a VERY special 1 year anniversary episode. And the guys are coming loaded with things to talk about.

Tom Brady is BACK! After spending 40 days at home with his wife and kids the GOAT is coming back to the field. Where does this put the Bucs in the NFC pecking order? Is he possibly on the move?

Speaking of players on the move, Deshaun Watson may finally get his wish of a trade out of Houston. The Texans QB sat out all of last season after demanding a trade. Houston is playing hard ball demanding a high price for their star QB but, Watson has a no trade clause, limiting the amount of potential suitors.

Amari Cooper and Khalil Mack have been traded. How does this benefit the teams they're going to? Hurt the ones they are leaving behind? And what about free agency?! Tampering window opens tomorrow, I sense fireworks in our future.

Thank you to all our listeners and follower on social media. We wouldn't be here 1 year later without the support of all of you. We love doing this show, and we love interacting with all of you. So please, we would appreciate the continued support and hit us up on Twitter we always love chatting!

Chris and Steve are back for a special episode of the Ball Hawks Podcast.

The Seattle Seahawks have made it clear today they are ready to usher in a new era. Trading Quarterback, Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos for a return of picks and players. Also, announced today was the team is releasing former All-Pro Linebacker, Bobby Wagner.

Does Chris like these moves? What was his initial reaction? Did the Seahawks get enough in return for Wilson? And the biggest question, now what?

Chris and Steve of the Ball Hawks Podcast is BACK! We took some time off to refresh, recuperate and recharge. The Super Bowl is over but the NFL don't stop! Won't stop, can't stop!!!

We are diving in to some VERY EARLY free agency rumors. Who's going where? Whos' getting released? Is the Franchise Tag in play?

The NFL Combine has been happening this week. There have been impressive performances and a lot of talk about hands. You'd think this was a repeat of Joey finding his hand twin on Friends?! This hand is your hand, this hand is my hand. Oh, wait that's your hand. NO, wait, it's my hand.

Chris and Steve of the Ball Hawks Podcast are back for another episode! With Special Guest, Glassy, aka Beanstradomous.

The NFL played their annual 2-hand touch all-star game today. Better known as the Pro Bowl. Should the league can the game? Incentivize it to become more competitive? Just do a weekend long skills competition?

Washington Football Team is DEAD! Long live the, Washington Commanders. Did the team get this right?

We bring in Glassy, aka Beanstradomous, to come in and explain how he makes his pick for the Super Bowl. SPOILER ALERT: It involves a couple cans of beans and a microwave. Be sure to tune in to hear all the gory details.

Third Down is back after a 1 week hiatus. Chris is out of quarantine and ready to bring the HEAT!

Chris and Steve of the Ball Hawks Podcast are back! Recapping the NFL Conference Championship games. Who is off to Super Bowl LVI(56)?

The New Kids On The Block, Cincinnati Bengals head into Arrow Head Stadium to face Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs for the AFC Championship. Bengals have been playing with house money these playoffs, and today they put their money on black and let it ride. Patrick Mahomes reign of terror over the AFC comes to an end, at least for this year. Joe Burrow is going to be a problem for many, many years to come.

The Los Angeles (LA) Rams, head to the Bay Area to face the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game. Wait, this game is being played at SoFi Stadium in LA? But why are there so many 49ers fans there? Does LA even care about the Rams? Matthew Stafford didn't have a great game but Cooper Kupp reminded everyone why he is in the MVP conversation. Deebo Samuel did everything he could to lift his team to victory. However, Jimmy Garoppolo went full Jimmy GQ at the end and Aaron Donald wants everyone to know SoFi is HIS stadium.

Chris and Steve of the Ball Hawks Podcast, part of the Dean Blundell Network, are back! Recapping what turned out to be the greatest weekend in the NFL of ALL-TIME! Where do we even start?! Our heads are spinning after the NFL Divisional Playoffs.

The weekend opened with the #1 seed in the AFC, Tennessee Titans, playing host to the Cincinnati Bengals. Who's to blame for the loss? Ryan Tannehill? Mike Vrabel? Taylor Lewan? The Bengals didn't play perfect, allowing Joe Burrow to be sacked 9 times, but they pulled it off. Should teams be worried about these Bengals?

Saturday evening we saw the NFC's #1 seed, Green Bay Packers, play host to the San Francisco 49ers in a cold, snowy Lambeau Field. Both defenses played championship-level football. Both offenses left a lot to be desired. What does Aaron Rodgers do now? Retire? Demand a trade? Lots of questions looming this off-season for the Packers. Meanwhile, the 49ers and Jimmy Garoppolo are off to the NFC Championship, who would have thought?

Sunday afternoon we saw defending Super Bowl Champion, Tom Brady and his Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Los Angeles(LA) Rams. Could Matthew Stafford pick up his 2nd career playoff win after getting his first last week? Was this going to be the week that Meh Stafford showed up? Tom Brady has his own retirement rumors swirling now as well. Is this it for the GOAT?

Just when we thought we had seen it all and nothing was going to top the first 3 games of the Divisional Round. Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills and Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs said, "Hold my beer." The Chiefs and Bills went toe-to-toe, needing OT, to settle an instant classic. Should the Bills have squib-kicked it after taking the lead? Did they play too soft on defense at the end? Can anybody stop Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs right now? The NFL needs to change their Overtime rules right?

Chris and Steve of the Ball Hawks Podcast, part of the Dean Blundell Network, are back for a very special playoff episode! Tune in LIVE as we reveal our picks for this round on air. Can Chris make up for his Wild Card debacle?

The NFL Wild Card round is in the books and we are off to the Divisional round. The Wild Card wasn't that "Super" regardless of how the league tried to market it. This week should make up for what was a lackluster first round with 4 enticing matchups.

Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers play host to Matthew Stafford and the LA Rams. Tampa's offense has multiple injuries, including phenomenal OL, Tristan Wirfs. Can Brady lead the Bucs to back-to-back NFC Championship games? Or will Aaron Donald and Von Miller wreak havoc in that Buccaneers backfield?

The Green Bay Packers enjoyed the week off during the first round. However this week, Aaron Rodgers and co. will be playing host to the San Francisco 49ers. Rodgers is 0-3 vs his hometown Niners in the playoffs. The last time they met 2 years ago San Francisco won in the NFC Championship game. Will he have David Bakhtiari protecting his blindside this game? Or will Deebo Samuel carry his team to another playoff victory?

On the AFC side, the #1 seed, Tennessee Titans will be welcoming back the King for their first-round matchup vs the Cincinnati Bengals. All signs are pointing to Derrick Henry making his return in the double-blues for the first time since week 8. Henry, combined with a healthy Julio Jones & AJ Brown will make for a potent Titans offense. BUT, if there's one team that is built for a shoot-out it's those New Kids On The Block, Cincinnati Bengals! Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase are proving to be a deadly combo already in their 1st NFL season together. Can the kids keep it rolling and pick up a win on the road? Or will King Henry beat them into submission and send them to the gallows?

The marquee matchup of the NFL Divisional Round HAS the Buffalo Bills vs the Kansas City Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense has woken from the dead and seems to be firing on all cylinders right now. Josh Allen and his Bills offense are also firing on all cylinders right now after laying a beating on the Patriots. Can Mahomes lead his Chiefs to their third straight AFC Championship game? Or will Josh Allen lift his team up and pick up a monumental win on the road?
