Chris tried to bend the rules and all hell breaks loose! Things settle into a "sweet" Third Down (69:03) segment. This week's matchups feature favorite candy! Julio Jones is going to be a Tennessee Titan! The guys are back in the studio to discuss whether this makes the Titans a legitimate Super Bowl contender this year, or are they, pretenders? You will hear everything from whether athletes should be forced into mandatory media obligations, to what type of ice cream reigns supreme! We cover it all!

We started this episode by talking about whether or not athletes should have to do mandatory press conferences and media obligations (6:42). Last week tennis star, Naomi Osaka pulled out of the French Open to protect, and work on her mental health, instead of doing her media obligations. The guys discuss whether athletes should have to or not.

Talks shift to the conclusion of the Julio Jones saga (16:44). Does this make them an instant contender? Are they still missing pieces to get them there? Find out the Ball Hawks analysis and why Steve wants to take a Twitter hiatus whenever his team is in the running for a player.

The guys then discuss some too early NFL MVP odds (31:02). Who would they take? Who is their favorite non QB favorite to take the crown. Lots of discussions about what has happened historically.

Everybody's favorite podcast segment is back again! The Third Down (47:01) features a summer favorite treat... I scream, you scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM! Chris throws out the first non-football-themed Third Down and it does not disappoint! What ice cream will take the MVP for Steve?

We kicked off talks with story/non-story: Aaron Rodgers is in Hawaii while OTAs are underway (3:50). Is it a big deal? Does this open a door for Jordan Love to make ground on the starting job?

We then moved to the news that is at the forefront of NFL talks. Did Julio Jones know he was on national television when Shannon Sharpe called him and put him on speaker phone (8:40)? Where will Julio get traded to? What is his value? Will he be a Raven? Seahawk? Titan? Patriot? 49er?

The main attraction of the episode features Steve and Chris going through their WAY too early W-L predictions for each of their teams (Ravens predictions 18:25 and Seahawks predictions 30:55) . Did either guy have their team going undefeated? Let's just say the live YouTube chat was giving the guys a hard time for being homers!

This conversation naturally shifts from predictions to which NFL coach will be the first to get fired (45:24). Will your team's coach make the list?

Everyone's favorite segment, the Third Down (53:04) features the worst hair in sports/pop culture. There is a very special matchup that you'll have to tune in to, in order to find out!

The moment you all have been waiting for kicks off next with details on the Aaron Rodgers saga (41:53). The guys talk everything from reports, rumors, truth and lies, and of course, does Aaron Rodgers suit up for Green Bay week 1.

We are back on the mic's Sunday and want to wish all the moms out there a very happy Mother's Day, especially our own mom's and our wives, who are the rocks of our family's!

We start the episode by talking about our #RunChrisRun event that spiraled well out of control into something that was a lot of fun. The guys talk about a few things from around the NFL (27:40) that happened this week. A slow week in NFL news but topics were, Frank Ragnow's record setting center extension, Eagles claiming Kerryon Johnson and Brandon Beane's recent comments that sparked debate about whether guys should be cut due to their vaccination status. **Disclaimer, we reveal why we did not touch on the Aaron Rodgers news- this is coming with a guest next week**

Talks then shift to a couple of jersey nerds talking rookie jersey numbers (48:25). Does your team have their rookie numbers decided yet? Is there a rookie jersey you want to buy? Let us know on our social media pages!

Draft talks kick off the show (8:01) with Chris recapping the Seahawks 3 picks over the weekend. Steve discusses the Ravens 8 picks this round, including the TWO first round selections. Find out what the guys think of their team's weekend drafting. The guys then head over to discuss the 1st Round (55:01) of the NFL Draft. What picks we liked, which ones we disliked, and which ones they felt were the best value. Next, topic turned to "winners and losers" of the draft. Find out if your team or favorite player was discussed and if they were a winner or loser in this year's draft. Some really interesting conversations about why someone or some team may be labelled a winner or loser of a draft. This week’s installment of the Third Down (72:21) featured a fun spin on a previous topic. You’ll have to tune in, to see if your favorite host, Steve, notched his first win on the Third Down. Spoiler alert, he didn’t go up against anyone, so ya boi got his first W!!!!!! Improving his season record to 1-3. Do we have a treat for you this week!!! We have been hinting at it all weekend and it's finally here. The guys sat down with former Baltimore Ravens editor, creator of Man of the Crowd Podcast and the Late for Work feature on baltimoreravens.com, Sarah Ellison. Give her a follow on Twitter @sarahgellison. Sarah was gracious enough to do an ENTIRE episode with the guys and this is one all fans will want to hear. We started by asking about her time at BYU and how that led into an internship with the Baltimore Ravens, due to a certain Head Coach of the Ravens at the time. With a lot of hard work and some timely luck, Sarah landed a job with the organization she calls first class. Sarah went into a plethora of reasons why she thinks the Ravens embody that title. She also treated us to a story about the secrecy of the Ravens and how that really showed itself when the Ravens moved back into the first round in 2018 and drafted Lamar Jackson. We also got into recent news about Orlando Brown Jr being traded to the Kansas City Chiefs. We talked about trade value and how can you assess a trade in the immediacy or? The guys also picked Sarah's brain about the recent Bucky Brooks comments about the how the Ravens could select Ohio State's Justin Fields in the first round this Thursday at the First Round of the NFL Draft in Cleveland. She had a VERY interesting response! Finally, it wouldn't be an episode of the Ball Hawks Podcast without a Third Down segment. Steve and Sarah go head to head with this week's topic being, former Ravens first round picks. Sarah had the guys shocked within the first few seconds of matchup number 1!
