Who am I? What am I supposed to do? These are two questions that everyone searches to find the answers to.  People everywhere are trying to search to figure out who they are.

People often try to figure out who they are through travel, experiences, and relationships.

We all long for identity and purpose. We all want to figure out how and where we belong.

Our identity is found in the Gospel. It is found in who God says that we are and in what He says that our purpose is.

In this lesson-we will discover who we are through the Gospel. We will learn two identity statements: I am a child of God, and I am an heir of God.

The Gospel is the greatest news ever-it's the fact that Jesus, the sinless Son of God, came, lived a perfect life, died, and rose again for our sin. We can be forgiven and have a relationship with God because of it.

In essence, Jesus fulfilled the promise of the Gospel. Some people think that being a Christian is about going to church and acting certain ways, but it's all about accepting God's promise.

In today's lesson, we will continue to study the book of Galatians and learn about the promise of the Gospel and the purpose of the law.

What have you received in your life or have experienced that made you feel truly blessed? First pet? Gift of some sort? Marriage/wedding? New Car? First house? Vacation? Answered prayer

If we aren’t careful the “blessed” feeling wears off. If you have accepted Jesus as your Savior the GREATEST blessing is the Gospel-what Jesus did for us and what it means for us.

But in the same way, if we aren’t careful, we forget how big of a blessing the Gospel is. 

In this passage of Scripture, Paul confronts the issue of how the Galatian believers got away from the blessing of the Gospel and he reminds them how big of a blessing the Gospel is.

Have you have ever had to be corrected before? 

We live in a world that constantly is trying to divide. It happens all the time online, on social media, and on the news. The news constantly tries to divide, there is division about lifestyles, education, and there is political division that seems to be at an all time high.

Of all places surely the church-the body of Christ-there should be unity. 

What if the Gospel meant more than what someone wears?

What if the Gospel meant more than the type of music a church has?

What if the Gospel meant more than a preference or a philosophy?

What would happen if we were united by the Gospel?

In today's lesson, we will learn from Galatians 2:1-10 about how we should be united by the Gospel.

Our testimony is the story of how God worked in our life. Because of His amazing grace He loved us enough to send His Son Jesus to die and rise again for our sin. When we place our faith in Him it leads to an amazing, life changing relationship.

When we share our salvation testimony we share with someone how we got saved. It is how you came to a point where you put your faith in Jesus and experienced His amazing grace. 

But that really is the beginning of the larger testimony that we build as a follower of Jesus. 

Our salvation testimony never changes-and once we are saved we are always saved. But our general testimony-how God continues to work in our life is something that grows more deep and rich the longer that we live as we see God’s grace and His truth again and again in our life. We don’t become a finished product so to speak at salvation, rather we enter into a life long, life changing relationship with Jesus. 

In this portion of Scripture, Paul shares how the amazing grace of Jesus changed His life, and how the transforming power of the Gospel and his relationship with God continued to change Him. 

We will see Paul share four different aspects of his testimony-who I was, what God did, what God is doing, and who I am now.

The book of Galatians is an epistle, or letter, written by the Apostle Paul, formerly known as Saul of Tarsus. It was written by Paul and most scholars agree that it was written around AD 50 which was only about 15-20 years after the death and resurrection of Jesus. 

The book of Galatians is a vitally important book. It has been called “The Christian’s declaration of Independence.” The message of Galatians is freedom in Christ from the bondage of sin and religious legalism. The theme of Galatians is that true spiritual freedom comes only through Jesus plus nothing. 

In today's lesson, we will do an overview of Galatians and learn that the Gospel truly is the center of the Christian life.

What would your life look like if you were willing to push past your fear, leave the familiar, ignore the fatigue, and launch out at the Word and calling of Jesus?

When we follow the Word and calling of Jesus, when we are willing to launch out, it leads to a greater perspective, relationships, and faith. And above all, it leads to a stronger and more meaningful relationship with Jesus. 

In today's lesson, we will learn about what keeps us on the shore, why we should launch out, and what happens when we launch out. 

There are many situations and things in life that cause us to be ungrateful and focus on what is negative. That is not the way that God wants us to live. He wants us to be thankful to Him at all times.

In today's lesson from our worship leader Sam Livermore, we will study the account of the 10 lepers that Jesus healed and learn about thankfulness.

You have heard, will hear, or will say this phrase, “New year, new you!” 

We often view the New Year as a time to try something new, learn a new skill, or act in a different way. We like the idea of a new start.  Many people make a determination or decision to change their life in some way compared to the previous year.

Imagine what it would be like to actually read through the Bible this year. Imagine how good it would feel to take some positive steps toward a financial or health goal, to try something new, or to get involved in following God. 

Goals can be accomplished, change is possible. In this lesson, we will take a look at how Solomon determined to build and learn some principles that will help us as we form and practice resolutions in our life.
