Welcome back all!!  Happy New Year!  2024 is here and with it, another season of the BALLS AND BEARDS PODCAST!!  The boys are celebrating the new year and a new season with a super Season 4 Premier Double Episode featuring "regular" guest Justin Reno!!

The boys kickoff today's Season 4 Premier Extravaganza with a complete breakdown & picks for all six of this weekend's Super Wild Card Weekend games of the NFL Playoffs.  Mikee, Chris, and Justin were in agreement in 3/6 of the games and were split on the other 3.  So, who do the boys like?  Can Chris's Packers upset the Cowboys?  Can Justin's Eagles find their groove again in Tampa?  Or is it 1-and-done for the defending NFC Champs?

Next up, Mikee & Chris discuss the NFL head coaching vacancies - most notably, legendary Bill Belichick & the Patriots parting ways after 24 seasons of unparalleled success.  There seems to be plenty of suitors for Belichick's last act, so where might the coach end up?  Plus Pete Carroll surprisingly out as Seahawks HC & Mike Vrabel out in Tennessee.  So who goes where?

Lastly, Mikee & Chris discuss the reinstatement of Draymond Green, plus the struggles of both the Warriors (17-20) & Lakers (19-19).  Is it time to panic?  What do they do in the next month leading up to the trade deadline?  Plus a full rundown of both the Western & Eastern Conferences!  All of that, plus much, much more - come join us for our Season 4 Premier special Super Double  Episode!

***A SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT*** from the BALLS AND BEARDS PODCAST - As we kickoff Season 4 of the Podcast, it is with our great pleasure to announce that we have went from a duo to a Trio.  Our good friend and regular guest Justin Reno, has agreed to join Mikee & Chris as a full-time member of the Balls and Beards Podcast!

Welcome back all to Season 3 Episode 17 of the 'BALLS AND BEARDS PODCAST'!  After a brief hiatus, the boys are back with a holiday-style helping of topics ranging from the Lakers being crowned inaugural NBA in-season Tournament Champions to the issues with NFL MVP voting to Draymond Green's latest antics to Giannis's record-setting night.  All of that plus much, much more!

Mikee & Chris welcome podcast regular Justin Reno once again, as the boys kick off the festivities with a discussion on the reports saying Bill Belicheck & the Patriots will mutually part ways after the season.  Is he officially done?  Where does Belicheck rank on the all-time coaching list?  The boys have plenty to say.

Then it's onto the NBA where Mikee's Lakers had an impressive run to  capture the first NBA Cup, and Draymond Green is up to his old antics yet again.  This time, the league has come down hard, and so do the boys as they don't let back on their take with what the Warriors should do with Draymond.

Lastly, the boys dive into the current insane losing streaks of both the Pistons & Spurs - the two highest paid coaches in the league currently have lost their last 39 games between the two 😳 😬.   And how about Giannis dropping 64 on the Pacers!! All of that, plus plenty more, come join us for a holiday-sized edition of the 'BALLS AND BEARDS PODCAST'!

Welcome back all to a special edition MEGA-EPISODE of the 'Balls and Beards Podcast'!  Today's Season 3 Episode 16 mega-episode was so loaded with content we needed our good friend, and regular guest Justin Reno to join us!

The boys kick off the festivities by giving their take on who are the true Super Bowl Contenders in both the AFC & NFC.  Are there any surprises?  Seems as though it's the Eagles and everyone else in the NFC and relatively wide-open AFC.  Then Chris wraps up the NFL portion of today's mega-episode with his MVP shortlist - and who he has on top may be a bit of a surprise to many 😮

Then it's onto the NBA where the boys give their take on the top MVP Candidates for the 2023-24' season, plus will it be Chet Holgrem or Victor Wembanyama for ROY?

Plus James Harden finally got his wish and was traded to the Clips.  But did the move ultimately help or hurt the Clippers?  The boys discuss - where Mikee has a particularly stern stance on what he thinks of the other LA team after the big trade to bring Harden to town.

Finally, the boys put a shiny bow on today's MEGA-EPISODE with Justin Reno's NBA Top 5 Players to Watch in 2023-24' & the list does not disappoint 👏

Special thanks to all of you listeners out there and special thanks to our "special/regular" guest Justin Reno!

Then it's onto the behemoth that is the Western Conference.  The defending Champion Nuggets appear poised to make another run, but who else can emerge from the deep & talented West?  The boys are both high on Mikee's Lakers, aren't sure about the Clippers and have plenty else to say.

Welcome back all to another episode of the 'BALLS AND BEARDS PODCAST'!  The boys are super pumped for today's brand new Season 3 Episode 14!

Mikee & Chris kickoff the festivities with a fun segment discussing some of the surprises in both the AFC & NFC.  What's a bigger surprise to this point in the season - the Steelers in 1st in the AFC North despite being outscored by a significant margin or is it the Patriots who appear to be completely lost after losing by a combined score of 72-3 over the past two weeks?  Then in the NFC what about the success of the NFC South as a whole & the Lions?

Then it's on to the two massive NBA trades that shook up the landscape heading into the 23-24' season.  How does Mikee feel about Chris's Bucks landing Damian Lillard?  What about the Celtics subsequently snagging Jrue Holiday from Portland?  The boys discuss those two trades and what it means for both Milwaukee & Boston heading into the season.

All of that plus much, much more including Chris's NFL Top 7 Power Rankings, plus what to do with Dak Prescott?  Come join us for Season 3 Episode 14 of the 'BALLS AND BEARDS PODCAST'!!

Welcome back all!  BALLS AND BEARDS PODCAST Season 3 Episode 13 is out and we couldn't be more excited about all of the great NFL content that we manages to cram pack into today's newest episode!

Special guest (although by now he has become more of a 'regular' guest) Justin Reno once again joins Mikee & Chris for all things NFL 🏈.

We kickoff the festivities by taking turns discussing some aspect of the early NFL season that has stood out to each of us - who has surprised us thus far through the first couple of games of the season?

Then it's on to the part of the game we all like the least- injuries - the Jets lost HOF QB Aaron Rodgers just four snaps into the season, while the Browns lost dynamic RB Nick Chubb to a gruesome knee injury Monday night.  What does it mean for both New York & Cleveland moving ahead in 2023?  Can they still make the playoffs?

Then it's on to a full AFC rundown where the boys go through each division and give their thoughts on what we've seen in the early going of the season, and lastly, then it's on to a full NFC rundown as well - the Eagles, Cowboys, and 49ers all look good- what about the trio of 2-0 teams atop the NFC South?  Jordan Love has looked solid for the Pack, plus much, much more!!  Come join us for a highly entertaining Season 3 Episode 13 of the BALLS AND BEARDS PODCAST!!!

Welcome back all to the "BALLS AND BEARDS PODCAST"!  We are super excited for today's episode because it's football time! 🔥🏈 The official start to the 2023 NFL season is just one week away, and the boys are ready!  Come join us for Season 3 Episode 12 - our 2023 NFL Kickoff Preview Extravaganza!

It was such a massive preview that we needed our good friend, and special guest Justin Reno to stop on by and provide his thoughts and analysis as well.

It's an all-NFL Episode with the boys providing an analysis for all 32 teams and where to expect each to finish.

As we dive into today's NFL Preview Extravaganza, Mikee, Chris, and Justin start in the NFC and finish in the AFC with projections & picks for all 8 of the divisions.

Can the Eagles re-peat in the NFC East?  Will the Packers remain relevant in the NFC North with Jordan Love at the helm and no Aaron Rodgers?  Is it the Kyle Shanahan show once again in the West?  Are New Orleans & QB addition Derek Carr the favorites in the South?

And how about the AFC?  Can Joe Burrow lead the Bengals to a third consecutive AFC Title game?  It is the Chiefs' conference to lose yet again?  How about the Aaron Rodgers-led Jets in the East?  Or will it continue to be the Buffalo show?
