There’s a fun day trip you can take and lets you explore one of the other Hawaiian islands. Lanai can easily be seen from the south and west shores of Maui. There is a ferry that runs from the Lahaina Harbor to Lanai several times a day. On the 45 minute ferry ride you might even see humpback whales or dolphin! Once on Lanai, there are options for exploring a nearby beach or going on a 4x4 island tour. On this episode we’ll also discuss the bamboo forest hike and Twin Falls on Maui.
