Band Hang

Jim and Doug, and Chrissy sit down with Todd Kraszman. Todd is a talented singer, songwriter, guitar player, and just an overall funny and interesting guy. It was a great time having him in the studio, and we hope to do it again.

We talk about his first High School band Raid, and from there go through over 35 years of music, including his current project (which he fronts with his wife, and also features our very own Jim Parker on mandolin) Kraszman & Fishwife. Along the way we talk about the early thrash metal scene in Rochester, we make fun of Lars Ulrich, discuss the greatness of Mike Patton, and make plans to launch Todd's lounge singing career.

Jim, Doug, and Chrissy talk about the recent Baker's Dozen run by Phish at MSG. Chocolate Rain is addressed again. Chrissy constructs a metaphor for seeing the band Clutch. Favorite eras of both The Grateful Dead and Phish are shared, Jim's love of Chad Kroeger is revealed, and the three discuss various other music and pop culture topics.

Jim and Doug sit down with Randy Dunn to talk about Youtube memes, fantasy incest, and assorted music related topics

Jim and Doug talk about fan reaction to our research assistant Chrissy, the bygone era of physically owning music and album art, the epic backfire that came from the PMRC censorship case, and various other music and pop culture topics. Chrissy drops knowledge on what's in store in the city concert series for the rest of the summer here in Rochester.

Jim and Doug talk about not caring about Celine Dion's talent, Doug's love of American Idol, band name hits and misses, and various other music and pop culture topics. We also introduce our lovely and talented research assistant, Chrissy!
