Welcome back to the bandwidth.podcast; where we paint Canada's sonic picture, one podcast at a time!
On this episode we interview Zachary Red from Edmonton, AB.
When I first heard Zachary's music I instantly thought of folk-pop troubadour BORNS - but after listening to more of his music, good lord is he far from it. He's got influences out the wazoo, from folk to heavy-metal and math rock, he's a music lover. This shows in his music, he pulls from everything to create something entirely his own, his vocals are emotional and raw and his production is tight as spandex shorts that are three sizes too small. After studying Audio Engineering in Montreal, QC, Zachary has been doing everything himself, and doing it damn well. We talk about his life in music, a drum set named Tiffany, the timelessness of the Trumpet and a whole lot of other interesting things - enjoy this episode and tune in for more! We've got some changes coming, and as always you can stay posted at the links below.
