The Bang Average Advent Extravaganza presents, The Bang Average Secret Tournament!

For the 2002 World Cup, Nike gathered 23 of the world’s greatest players, plus Sylvain Wiltord, to play in The Secret Tournament, a three-a-side knockout competition played inside a cage, where the only rule is that the first goal wins. For the 2021 advent calendar, we are releasing a podcast each day, drafting teams from within each Premier League club. Our glorious Bangers will then vote for the best team from each draft, who will go into a final tournament at the end of the month.

Today Mike and John draft three man teams from Arsenal.

Mike and John return to discuss the Managerial Merry-Go-Round and the fantast impact on all involved.

John is back again with Henry to school us on the ways of fantasy American throw ball in part 2 of our 'Hand egg' special.

John's kids are finally taking over the feed, as he is joined this week by Henry in an American Football special.

Certified Banger Gotti (@sportsbygotti) makes his season debut to defend his position that Martin Odegaard is, in fact, Mason Mount. Mike disagrees and wagers ensue. As if keeping to a theme, John leads a discussion into other struggling midfielders and espouses the virtues of Brighton's high flying side, soon to be bolstered by fantasy hero Tariq Lamptey.

This week John makes his triumphant return to the pod, he and Mike discuss the morals of a fantasy team (only briefly), Leicester's attacking options and which Villa players are streaming options only for the foreseeable future.

Mike and Ryan look ahead to gameweek 3 of the new premier league season with special guest Damo Mackie. They assess Man United's title chances and discuss those players who have failed to make a fantasy impact so far.

The Premier League may be back, but that takes a backseat to the return of our very own premium product - Ryan from that Fantasy YIRMA thing.

We get his invaluable insight on GW1 results, player to target on the wire for GW2 and auction draft scandals. With a full injury update from Ben and a listener mailbag, we barely even missed John.

Mike and John record during the first game of the Premier League season, while conducting a somewhat chaotic and entirely fucked up auction draft. Even by Bang Average standards, its a little fractured, but lots of fantasy content as they talk players value for the season and a little auction draft nuance.

Mike and John hit the final pre-season position group, going through the deep pool of viable forwards. including Lukaku & Werner; Ings & Armstrong; PEA & Tammy and controversial ranks for Sterling & Jota.
