Rebecca Redican reports for The Northern Quota on the Mock COP26 conference held at Manchester Metropolitan University. Students met in a series of role-plays as members of government, NGO, or multinational company delegations to thrash out resolutions designed to confront global warming.

The conference was organised by MMU's Professor Liz Price.

Bang To Rights is back - with a guided walking tour around some of the milestones in the history of journalism in Manchester. We start with the foundation of The Manchester Guardian in response to the Peterloo Massacre of 1819, and follow the traditions of radical journalism right up to the present day.
