An underrated hotbed for basketball in the US in West Virginia, Phil Bledsoe shone threw as one of its brightest stars, fostering an exceptional career at Wheeling Park High School in the northern panhandle. After finding initial struggles at the beginning of his college career, Bledsoe turned his fortunes around following a transfer to Glenville State College, which saw him become an all-conference selection and a 1,000 point career scorer for the Pioneers.
Now ready to chase his dream of playing in the NBA and join a fraternity of non-D1 players making it to the league amongst the likes of George Gervin, Ben Wallace, and Scottie Pippen, Bledsoe finds another roadblock in training for the draft in a current world that features a worldwide pandemic.
