In the midst of the dark and difficult times of life, God is at work. He longs to surround us with His protection and bless us. Jesus is ‘our glorious Boaz’. On the cross, He prayed ‘Father, forgive them’, then He died for our sins. We come to Him with our tendency to blame others and wage war in order to receive forgiveness and hope. Like Ruth’s request to Boaz, our prayer is, ‘May I continue find favour in your eyes, my lord’.

Instead of putting up with those things in life that get us down and cause us worry and stress, we can experience freedom, joy and peace as we invite God to be present with us in the midst of the issues and moments of life we face each day.
