Tunaday #347 - A Peggy Seeger "dulcimer" tuning (gDGDD)

Testing out some bridge wood sent to me by my friend YZ Newberry. This is maple from an old Engelhart piano hammer rail. The piano was built between 1908 and 1915. I'm playing my Kalamazoo tenor conversion with a brass hoop.

An original tune, and the title track of my new CD, "The Mountain Staircase." Recorded on gourd banjo.

Tuning is a#GCD#G (fDGBbD, but much lower).

Played on my graphite necked vega clone

One take each 3 separate tracks with Audacity. My new "Woody" banjo I finished a few weeks ago, The 4 string washtub bass, and my old Seagull guitar.
