Banjo Hangout Top 100 Bluegrass (Scruggs) Songs

My guitar arrangement of this vintage fiddle tune......Johnny Jackson - Rhythm Guitar....Cindi Stiltner - Bass.....Myself - Lead Guitar, Mandolin

Here's the version of Bluegrass Breakdown that is taught on Murphy Henry's DVD's.

I would recommend these DVD's to anyone who is teaching themselves to play the banjo. This was recorded after 8 months of playing the banjo and it is the exact version she teaches. No crazy variations in it or anything like that, but still a pretty cool version!

What a great tune.

Figured since I had all these instruments in the house I might as well put them to use! Never was quite happy with the banjo tone, and still need to record the mano break but I got tired of messing with it!

This is just me messing around on Audacity, I'm playing the banjo and guitar. Let me know what you think!!!

This is Blackberry Blossom played by my friend Art Horan (Roll Player) on 4 different banjos that were donated to the Wounded Warrior project where I volunteered to repair, resurrect and set up the banjos donated to the project. These were dumpster bound and I managed to get them back into playing condition. The four banjos are a converted Alvarez Tenor, a Harmony Bakelite banjo, a heavily modified no-name Korean bottlecap banjo, and an un-modified Hondo Korean bottlecap banjo.

In order they are Un-modified Hondo Bottlecap, Converted Alvarez Tenor, Heavily Modified Korean Bottlecap, Harmony Bakelite
