Banjo Hangout Top 100 Bluegrass (Scruggs) Songs

From a Christmas CD I played on. Huberized Granada Copy.

I always thought this song would sound good as bluegrass. I did all the parts so I'll take the blame if it doesn't. I used an Ashbory bass, Kentucky mandolin and my 93 Scruggs with one of xnavyguy's Hybridge Spillway dam bridges.

This has been done a lot better by JD & his band, but I thought I'd give it a go anyway. The banjo is my old Fender Artist with an xnavyguy Spillway Dam bridge. I did all the vocals and instruments, so there's no one else to share the blame.

This is a fine Reno and Smiley song, from a practice tape of my band Silver Spring, recorded in Vancouver, B.C., in the mid-1970s. Played on a 1929 Gibson model 6 flathead. A tab of the break is posted in the Tablature Archive on BHO.

My brother Gregory Gregory ( the kid so nice, Mom named him twice) wrote this.

He has given permission to sing it wherever you are, and wherever you go.

Hope the audio is clear, as to the words. If not, email me and I'll send you a copy. No tab, but chords, too, if you need them.
