He's worked in towns and villages all over India as well as in mainstream institutions such as the Jawaharlal Nehru Univeristy - whose Centre for Social Medicine and Community Health he currently works with. Virginia Magwaza has been an advocate for human rights for more than four decades. She joins us today to talk about her own history in the anti-apartheid struggle and how the lessons she learned then translate into her current work advocating for the rights of queer people in southern Africa.
