The greatest gift God has ever given to wicked, sinful people is because of his great love to us. Those people that aren't believers do not understand why believers love to worship God in church services, or read their Bibles at home, or tell others about their great gift of salvation. Believers are not afraid, even of the rod of God, because believers know that God uses the rod to correct us, to draw us closer to him.

God speaks to a people who were outwardly religious, but inwardly far from Him. He speaks the same message to us today. He offers blessing, forgiveness, and life to those who will humble themselves, turn from their sin, and submit to the Lord Jesus Christ. But warns of certain judgment for those who harden their hearts and go their own way. Two paths are shown. We are either willing or rebellious. The LORD urges you to come in repentance and faith, so that you might know the goodness and mercy of God instead of meeting Him as Judge.

Then comes power in prayer at the incense altar. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 6. We are then ready to enter the Most Holy place to the highest level of personal power and detailed service. Psalm 37:23 7. Because God's Word is our sufficient authority, believers must hold fast to it so that we may mature in the faith and be equipped for every good work.
