This week at the bar we discuss the song “Troubles” by Alicia Keys. Now, if you’re not a fan of Alicia’s 1st album (which is her best album, so argue with yo mama not me💅🏽) chances are you don’t know this song. However, if you want to hear why Alicia got us in our feelings, our views on hustle culture, and why asking for help feels taboo, then get them chores done as you enjoy the show!

We all love birthday's and this week we brought "Birthday Song" by 2 Chainz featuring Kanye West to the bar. Yes we know, we know... Kanye name alone is cancelled but, this song depicts a time when we loved him and his music equally at the same time. If it makes you feel better, our audio suffered some technical difficulties as soon as we started discussing his verse, so clearly his karma is still going strong!

p.s We apologize for Kanye ruining our sound towards the end of the episode. 😂

Just in time for Valentine's day, this week at the bar we discuss Glorilla and Moneybagg Yo's new song "On What You On". I know what you're thinking, "that isn't a love song" but that's the exactly the point. Instead of going the traditional lovey dovey route we decided to take the more toxic route because we know most of ya'll capping about your picture perfect relationship on social media anyway!😂🤷🏽‍♀️

This week we bring Giveon's bars from his single "Let Me Go" to the bar and discuss when is the right time to leave a "situationship", when is the right time to leave a situation that was actually in your plans, when is the right time to bring up the ultimatum all together and more. We've got plenty of sh*ts and giggles along the way so enjoy!
