Today is Palm Sunday and the beginning of Holy Week on the Christian calendar. Whenever I think of palms, I think of my upbringing in Florida. But--why palms?

Is it OK for a Christian to grieve the death of a loved one or friend even if we know they are in Heaven and better off? Or should we simply rejoice they are in heaven and bypass grief?
