Bare Roots

Located on an island off of San Francisco, was one of the world's most secure prison, Alcatraz. In the 1930s, Alcatraz was already a forbidding place, surrounded by the cold, rough waters of the Pacific. Between the tough iron bars, a series of strategically positioned guard towers, and sharks in the Bay; escape seemed near impossible. Despite the odds, from 1934 until the prison was closed in 1963, 36 men tried 14 separate escapes. Nearly all were caught or didn’t survive the attempt. The fate of three particular inmates, however, remains a mystery to this day. Join Shannon and Elina as we discuss what happened on that famous night and is it possible they survived?

Many people remember her bubbly energy, but as years started to go by, people started to notice she was becoming a shell of herself. People criticized her marriage who felt her husband was controlling and manipulative. At the age of 32, she passed away of Pneumonia but many people think there may have been foul play. Happy Thanksgiving! We are going back in time to learn about the first UFO sighting in North America. It took place in 1639 in what is known as Massachusetts. The governor wrote down the occasion saying he was told by a man that there was an unexplained, green light in the sky. Multiple stories were recorded of unexplained events in New England. Could this be explained by aliens or something else?

Final Spooky Episode! We are wrapping up spooky season with a bonus episode on the ghosts of Charleston, South Carolina.
