This brother has seen me transition through multiple stages of life. I was honored to have him join me on stage as a  groomsman on my wedding day. In our time together, we are going to discuss our understanding of body positivity, talk about its impact in our lives, its relevance in Black culture, social media’s role in helping and/or harming how we see our bodies, and how/why nudism connects to it all. Also, with it being Suicide Prevention Month, during our time, we’re going to take a deeper look into the importance of how mental health plays a key role in how we are able to show up confidently in our skin. For episode two, we're going to pick up where I left off in episode one. In episode one, I started off by telling you all about my introduction into body positivity and nudism. We're going to take a little while and focus on the community aspect of all of this and really dive deep to explore how finding community who would affirm my new found confidence.

My very first guest is Evan Nicks, who is a good friend and a mentor for me in this podcast space especially as it pertains to body positivity and nudism.

Evan Nicks is the host of Naked Age, a podcast about cultural significance of nudity. With a background in filmmaking and a passion for naturism, Evan brings a unique perspective to the topic of public and private nudity. He has conducted extensive research and interviews with individuals from various nudist communities to create engaging and informative episodes. In addition to hosting Naked Age, Evan is the director of the Western Nudist Research Library and a contributing producer to the New Nudist Podcast. It's a pleasure to have Evan joined me!

This week on a BARE with Me Podcast. We're taking it back, way way back! Join me as I turn back the hands of time. Traveling to my beginnings as a young nudist, this is a story you don't want to miss. In episode one, I will be exploring how an early addiction to pornography created a need for me to find a way to deal with insecurities stemming from said addiction. My struggle with pornography led me to seeking out nudist communities as a remedy. You heard me right, I ended up in a nudist community. In this space I found healing and I love for myself (my body) that I had never experienced.
