It's the last episode of 2025 and we are happy about that. Meg and Duane talk about books, the PR team for the Bible, Iron Man and teaching old dogs new tricks and perhaps we should do that more oftern. But seriously, when was the last time someone said "hey, want to see the trick i just taught my old dog?". 

This was a challenging year for everyone and we hope that you ride strong into 2026.  Do your own research, read books - all the books - any book you can get your hand on- and try not to lead with fear or follow those that do. 

This episode takes us all over the place. We have America's favorite traitor, Mike Favor on the show telling us his most definitely not popular opinions. Taylor Swift is mentioned a lot, as is Boston and Philly.  And he might have found a bipartisan issue. 

Jon has been a guest on Barely Making It, possibly in every form it has taken and now he's on the podcast. Our conversations were all over the place, like always. On this episode we talked about Thanksgiving sides, the traditional vs experimental food, leftovers, Bill & Ted, Meghan does not look like a douche with her sunglasses on inside, compliments from strangers and the classic PSA "It's 10 o'clock, do you know where your children are?". This might be the least doomsday sounding episode we have ever done. Enjoy the moment. 

Oh boy! Did we have fun this episode. Patricia Yeazell came by and we talked about a lot of things that come with a warning sign. In no particular order, Murder, Pube Panties, Relationships that End in Murder Instead of Divorce, Full Bush, Thanksgiving, Kim K's Sex Tape, Candyman. A lot of moments that will stay with us forever. 

We had a real treat of a conversation today with Rocky Powell. We jumped around from meditation to betting against your own team because you love them to Bea Arthur, naturally and then threw in some childhood trauma at the end. Balance. 

Today we talked about why bad things happening to comedians isn't always bad, it's material! Skits and why it's sooooooo great when our friends and lovers tell us we can "use this". Witchcraft comes up and so does cultural differences, coastal differences and Tinkerbell, the dog. Yay!!!

One of our favorites stopped by, Comedian and Actor, Marla Schultz. We talked about the Gen Z stare, how the dating rules are dead and so is civility. And we continue our important discussion about how the Jardiance commercial gets stuck in your head and what is really happening in those towns.

Comedian Tom Kelly stops by and we try to keep it light but you know that didn't last long. It's a disease we have but that's why we journal and so should you. 

It's Duane and Meg today talking again about dark stuff with an upbeat attitude. Bunkers were mentioned. The new survival kit and what goes in it. Oars? And it turns out that Cancers just like to go for long walks outside on their birthday to think about everything they can possibly think about at that moment. And are we emotional or is it the humidity?
