Bark and Brew Podcast

In Episode 4 of Bark and Brew, we’re going wild with a very special guest—Bridget, the Wildlife Twin. As a passionate conservationist and advocate for wild canids, Bridget joins us to dive into the fascinating world of dingoes.

Often misunderstood and caught in the middle of science, culture, and politics, dingoes play a critical role in Australia’s ecosystem. Bridget shares her firsthand experiences, insights into dingo behavior, and why conservation efforts are so important not just for wildlife, but for the entirely of our eco-systems.

In today’s episode of the Bark & Brew Podcast, we explore the increasingly debated idea of combining service work and protection work in a single dog. Inspired by a video from Justin Rigney, we unpack the legal considerations, conflicting training requirements, and the emotional and ethical impact this dual role can have on both dog and handler.
