What does a trucker look like? Ellen Voie breaks all the stereotypes. Ellen was set to become a TV Journalist when a family issue landed her a job in transportation. At 20, Ellen became traffic manager for a steel manufacturing plant. Since then she’s held a variety of positions in the industry and won a tractor trailer full of awards along the way. Today she’s the founder, president and CEO of The Women in Trucking Association. A non-profit that helps promote, engage, and remove obstacles for women in the trucking industry. During their talk, Ellen and Judy talk about the barriers many women in trucking still face, leadership and getting over the barriers in your mind.
