The boys are back and revisit gatekeeping. The gatekeepers will continue to do their thing but they gonna need a bigger gate.

We were gone for about 3+ months but are back! Ernesto went through growing pains starting an org but is turning the corner. Nathan got a new job, is creating again, and oh yeah did we mention he got engaged? The boyz been enjoying the fruits of their individual grinds.

This time we talking role models. What does it mean, do we need them? How do we as brown men navigate this world as it relates to roles models, mentors, and everything else.

The Boyz are back in town and we catch up on our latest ventures. Puerto Rico, wedding season and a Mana concert. We then hold space to talk about how we have been taught to grieve and how we deal with that process. Whether its through experience or by leaning on faith we have a conversation on how we handle that and go through the tough times. As always appreciate y'all listening! Peace!

We are back and it's Black History Month. Make sure to celebrate Black History everyday all year long, not just 28 days...

All these heritage months can get a little weird but ultimately we gotta decide how we celebrate and make sure it doesn't just get consolidated into 28-30days.

2023 gotta be different. The Barrio Boyz will be trying something new while still staying true to its core. 2 episodes a month, more guests and maybe a little bit more fun.
