Among Greg Gabriel's gargantuan accomplishments has been being head of the Chicago Bears college scouting department when the team drafted Devin Hester, Lance Briggs and Tommie Harris. 

Greg's 30 years of NFL scouting (nine as Scouting Director for the Bears) make him uniquely qualified to talk about the Monsters of the Midway. 

In this debut episode, he and co-host David Schuster, provide an overview of the team and set the stage for the upcoming season.

This episode of the Barfly Tailgate Show is one that will be remembered as Bobby, Gains and Badge Welcomed Sam Acho to accept a Badge Of Honor.

We were able to talk with Sam about the group of athletes who came toghether, including Mitchell Trubisky, Jason Heyward,  Jonathan Toews, Charles Leno Jr, Lucas Giolito, Jason Kipnis, Malcolm Subban, as well as NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot to purchase a liquor store and turn it into the neighborhoods only grocery store.  Sam had to step away for a few as he had some NFLPA stuff to work on, so the guys talked about the QB battle, and the effect of COVID-19.

Sam rejoined us to talk about his upcoming book Let the World See you, and the conversation around the book is absolutely inspiring.  This is Sam speaking from the heart on our show and how things that happened in his life inspired him to put it all on paper and really let the world See You.  

It was such a pleasure to have Sam join us and accept the Badge Of Honor.  This is something you don't want to miss.

Very few field goal kickers in the NFL are as beloved as former Chicago Bears great Kevin Butler. He was one of the guys. Hanging out with the offensive linemen. Head-butting Jim McMahon. And, just being an all-around great guy. 

Oh, by the way he was pretty damn good at his job, too. Butler broke the Bears all-time scoring records, held by Walter Payton, until Robbie Gould surpassed him in 2015.

Butthead, as he's affectionally referred to, and Mike North had a great 30 minute conversation. The second half of the show is filled with Mike's take on the return of baseball and other topics.

Greg, Joey 2 Scoops and Fat Mike welcome Cubs National Anthem Singer John Vincent to the show to talk baseball, mental health and the lost art of being a good person. John opens up about his fight with depression and speaks about his urge to bring good and positivity to the world! Then the guys talk about DeSean Jackson, the Blackhawks statement on their team name and they end the show with more Batman news.
