Gary Wilkerson is a tenured professor at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where he has taught in the Graduate Athletic Training Education Program for the past 19 years. He has received the designation of NATA Fellow, and he is a member of the NATA Hall of Fame. Cohen has been at Arizona since 2001 and oversees sports medicine services for Arizona's student-athletes. He has a degree in athletic training from Purdue University, a degree in physical therapy from the University of Illinois-Chicago and a doctorate of physical therapy from Simmons College. He was an athletic trainer at Purdue University (8 years) and Notre Dame (1 year) before coming to Arizona.
