Sarah and I discussed several different topics surrounding Major League Baseball. We spoke about the Fernando Tatís Jr. suspension, the Yankees’ recent struggles, the success that Joey Gallo and Jordan Montgomery have had since joining their new teams, and the Padres’ struggles since the trade deadline. We evaluated the Yankees’ pitching staff and if they’re in good shape going into the final month of the season, and we discussed the potential lineup configuration with Giancarlo Stanton returning and Andrew Benintendi finding his groove.

Hi everyone! Sarah and I recapped the trade deadline and weighed in on several moves that were made prior to the deadline. We talked about the biggest trade of the deadline, which was the Juan Soto deal as well as our confusion with the Jordan Montgomery trade. We also discussed some aspects of the mental side of the game, especially pitching, and what could be the reason behind Gerrit Cole’s bad outing in his previous start.
