Baseball Nostalgia 1869 with Jack Butler and Daniel Ranallo will give our listeners an overview of our podcast. We will explore Major League Baseball historic 150 year-old history, its 115 World Series, the the two players strikes in 1981 and 1994-95 (possibly one in 2020-21), and give a quick eight minute rundown of baseball in the past 150 seasons. From this episode, listeners will be engaging in polls and quizzes daily such as “who is that Hall of Famer” and voting for the MLB All Decade teams from 2010 to 1900. After all the votes and episodes are calculated and uploaded Daniel and Jack will be creating the teams on MLB 2K7 on the PlayStation 3/Xbox 360. Once the these twelve episodes are done we will research the histories of each team and discuss about a franchise or two or a division worth in one episode. Each week Jack and Daniel will try to have a guest to interview and have in the podcast. Both of us hope that the next 150 years of America’s’ pastime are better than the last 150 years.

  • Giants Dynasty, Steroid Era, and MLB All 2000s and 2010s teams reveal

In Season I Episode II, John discusses the last decade of baseball, the Steroid Era, and reveals the MLB All 2000s and 2010s teams. Most of the podcast focuses on the 2010s, explaining the Wolrd Series winners and how they went down and why teams did not capture a championship. Then, he summarizes the Steroid Era (But if you want a deep dive, go check out https://jbutle58.wixsite.com/jackbutler to read "How steroids were a double-edged sword for Major League Baseball. ") John puts a bow on it by announcing which players made the All 2000s and 2010s teams and best season, franchise, and game of the decade.
