Benson Fechter will be live from PNC Park at PiratesFest brining a special 3 hour edition of Bucco Booth. Hour 1 will feature a 2018 season recap going over the entire season from Spring Training through September. Player awards from the 2018 season will be given out, as well as grading the players seasons. Then in hour 2 our focus will shift to the offseason work done thus far and analyazing the big moves including the Lonnie Chisenhall signing and the Erik Gonzalez trade. And hour 3 the focus will be shifted to the 2019 season and how the Pirates are actually contenders.

According to reports the New York Yankees are close to trading a starting pitcher, could the Pittsburgh Pirates be part of the sweepstakes?

With less than a month to go until pitchers and catchers report to Bradenton, the Pittsburgh Pirates are still in search of a fifth starting pitcher. Jordan Lyles is an option, but he is best served pitching in relief. The team could use an opener as well, but they would be better off with a true fifth starting pitcher.

A report surfaced on Thursday that the New York Yankees could be close to trading starting pitcher Sonny Gray.
