In this episode, Adam's first episode as an official Ph.D, Drew and Adam discuss Shohei Ohtani going to the Angels. They discuss what it means for the Angels, Albert Pujols, and all of the teams that didn't land him. Later, they discuss Giancarlo Stanton getting traded to the Yankees in a historically lopsided trade. They break down what this means for the balance of the league, and how the other AL East teams need to respond. Finally, they stick up for Tyler Chatwood, who recently signed with the Cubs, and against all odds, is making $38 million dollars over the next 3 seasons.

In this episode, Drew and Adam discuss some of the articles that have been posted on the blog this week! They also discuss some of the smaller offseason moves being made prior to the big Ohtani and Stanton moves. Drew generates a "fake news" quiz for Adam on the SMALLLEST of roster moves to see if he can tell fact from fiction. Later, Drew takes over alphabet soup for a week, and discusses Defensive Runs Saved, also he sneaks in the shortest Mike Trout Minute ever. Finally, Adam discusses Miguel Sano's injury and treatment on Science in Baseball, and Drew sticks up for the little guy, Willians Astudillo, a master at putting the ball in play.
