Bias is a powerful thing. We often attribute our decisions and actions to logic when in fact they are the result of our subconscious bias in action. If we can acknowledge this phenomenon, we might have a fighting chance of overcoming it. That's why I, Tyler Jones, created Based in Bias Podcast: to reveal the biases that exist in the news media stories that we consume every day, learn and extrapolate how it exists in our every day lives, and to host conversations with friends, experts, and professionals about the biases they observe in their specialties or fields.

Hangin' with my best bud, Darryl. We dive into our gripes with social media identity disorder (no idea if that's a thing but I'm coining it if it's not) and Colin Powell. And other weird things. It's all over the place but 8/10 fun.
Why does Cinderella suck? And why do we have to talk about things sucking all the time?
Today, Rome joins Tyler to have an AT LENGTH discussion about many things...but the conversation ended up dominated by our gripes with social media and the impact on real life social cultures...and it's basically bringing about a social apocalypse.
