South Park Inn is a homeless shelter in Hartford, CT. I spoke with its staff and residents to find out more about the people battling homelessness.

John Miller began his career in journalism as a newspaper man, and moved on to become a writer at NBC's Today Show. He also wrote documentaries for PBS on Humphrey Bogart, and Spence Tracy which won him an Emmy. This is his story.

Jon D'Arpino is a long time falconer in central Connecticut. He joins us in this episode to tell us about this ancient sport and what is it like to hunt with a falcon.

Dan Pelletier is the founder of DIG (Determination. Integrity. Growth) an organization that helps kids learn chess, soccer, and baseball. We talk about chess and how it has helped inner city youth.

Brad Wolfson is a black belt under Master Stambowsky and a native of Connecticut. He talks about how much jiu-jitsu has grown in the state.
