How do we steward the gift of new life that was delivered at Christmas?

We take a look at how Jesus accomplished the purpose for which he was born.

Jesus is the gift of God, and not unlike us meeting needs with the gifts we give, the Lord had a purpose in the gift of Jesus.

David learns that there is always a consequence for sin. Even in the middle of a very hard situation, we are reminded that God is faithful.

David has real concerns leveled at him and so does the Church.

Even the failures of Bible characters serve as instruction to us. God uses King Saul as the tool to instruct us in 1 Samuel 28.

David falls prey to wrong thinking which leads to despair and a hard spot. As Christians, we are to combat this by taking every thought captive and trusting in the promises of God.

We see the failure of Abner to render proper keeping of Saul and David's carefulness to render to Saul and the Lord all that is due them.

We learn from the example and lessons of David and realize that we can safely trust in the immutable God.
