  • The Qualities of a Saint - Panch Parvaan - Japji Sahib Podcast EP16
    Watch on YouTube: https://youtu.be/tqf30kcDBs8
Bhai Baljit Singh talks about what 'Panch' means and how we can cultivate saintly qualities in our life, drawing from the lives of the Gurus and the Bhagats. In one of the most famous lines in Japji Sahib ਧੌਲੁ ਧਰਮੁ ਦਇਆ ਕਾ ਪੂਤੁ ॥ (dhaual dharam deaa kaa poot), the translation you'd normally find available is 'The mythical bull is Dharma, the son of compassion'. Bhai Baljit Singh properly explains this confusing english translation, uncovering the true meaning of this line.

  • #227 The Blessed Lineage of Guru Ji | Sri Nanak Prakash Katha | Bhai Harman Singh
Guru Nanak Dev Ji reveals to Mehta Kalu Ji of the location of their ancestors - in the realm where pain and hunger don't exist. Guru Ji offers to show Mehta Kalu Ji that Divine place.
"Sri Nanak Prakash is a detailed historical account of the life of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. It was written by Mahakavi (great poet) Bhai Santokh Singh Ji in 1824 (AD), and represents one of the most comprehensive and beautifully written accounts of Guru Ji’s life. It is usually associated as a part of the greater text known as Sri Gurpartap Suraj Granth (aka Suraj Prakash) which details the historical accounts of all 10 Guru Sahibs in poetic form. It is an ocean of bliss, knowledge and experience. It is said that if one listen to the history of the lives of all 10 Gurus through these texts with complete devotion and faith, they can reach enlightenment.
