When you go on a trip, you may forgot some items, but you never want to leave without the necessities. The same way when it comes to spiritual growth, you want to know what is necessary in order to grow. So what is it that we need?

All of life is a journey of sorts and every journey has certain expectations. We need to know where we are heading, why we are going that way.

Wisdom, we all need it from time to time, but where do we go to get it? At time it can be friends or our own knowledge, but is that really the best place to go?

Expectations are part of life and need to be clear. What happens if we feel like God's expectations aren't clear? What do we do? According to Jesus, the expectations can be narrowed down to one.

As humans we imitate those we are around the most. What should we do if our lives don't imitate Jesus? According to Paul, we need to make corrections. They may not be easy, but are attainable.

Following Jesus can mean some changes in our lives. Jesus urged those that followed Him to be different. That meant not only to live differently, but to love differently.

How can the church resist the temptation to become like the world? By creating a culture of goodness and love. So where do we start? We start with Jesus' model.
