“Psalms 120-134. These were sung by the Jewish people as they would travel up to Mt Zion. They are songs for "going up."

David wrote 4 of them, and Solomon wrote one. Solomon's is the very middle one, and the rest are paired (2 of David's on one side and 2 od his on the other side of Solomon's). These ultimately point us to the presence of God and His dwelling place... Jesus came to dwell among us (John 1:14), and at the end of our earthly pilgrimage, we will see the reality of Rev 21:1-4 (the dwelling place of God is now with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be His people).”

28 Samuel said to him, “The LORD has torn the kingship of Israel away from you today and has given it to your neighbor who is better than you.

29 “Furthermore, the Eternal One of Israel does not lie or change his mind, for he is not man who changes his mind.”

30 ¶ Saul said, “I have sinned. Please honor me now before the elders of my people and before Israel. Come back with me so I can bow in worship to the LORD your God.’ 1 Samuel 15 ///////

“Whenever you see “LORD” in the Old Testament, the Scripture is using His covenantal name of Yahweh. If you read “Lord,” it is a more generic Adonai.

God has given us His name because He wants us to know Him personally. And within His name, we remember that He is not the God who was or hopefully, one day will be, He is I AM.”////Exodus 15:11
