Let’s talk about rest - I’ve heard it’s a part of the training regime and business building regime. But, it’s easy to get into a “if-down-do” mode where you work when you’re supposed to rest. We don’t exert much energy during timeouts, or breaks, so, what is the balance here? Maybe it’s just me. Maybe the analogy is a stretch. But, it resonates for me. Hopefully it does for you, too.

Taxes and insurance costs can catch you by surprise if you’re not prepared. At the end of the day (in a cheesy way) we are our own insurance agents, who write our own policy and bust our butts to make it happen - which is exciting and scary. Hope you enjoy this rant and prepare much better than I did.
