I think most basketball trainers should run paid advertising. Here’s why.

This is not a comprehensive list of the pros and cons but some that stood out to me based on previous conversations from a few trainers. I hope this is a thought experiment that interests you and there is some value in this episode. Thanks for listening!

Events are a a good marketing practice. We learn how to promote and build anticipation. But, some of us miss out on a huge opportunity by not taking advantage of the days that kids are idle because they are out of school. There are many days in their respective school district that they are out of school which could be a great opportunity for us.

I met with someone who put me on game yesterday. In tomorrows episode I may share some of the notes I learned. But, it’s whatever Wednesday so this episode is a quick rant before it was time to return to work

Today is about thinking, strategy, and creating standard operating procedures to free up some time to focus on the important things that need my attention.

I love basketball training. I do think we get our horse blinders on at times and stop focusing on other areas that may interest us or help us reach personal goals. We work so hard for a vehicle that sometimes, just won’t be the vehicle that gets us to where we many want to go.
