Die Strecke รผber Lรคufelfingen war einst die wichtigste Verbindung zwischen Basel und Olten, bevor 1916 der Hauenstein-Basistunnel erรถffnet wurde. Heute verkehren hier vor allem die Zรผge der S9, wรคhrend bei Sperrungen des Basistunnels auch InterRegio- und Fernverkehrszรผge die alte Hauensteinstrecke nutzen. Das Video zeigt abwechslungsreichen Personenzugverkehr im Bahnhof Sissach und auf einer der geschichtstrรคchtigsten Eisenbahnstrecken der Schweiz

    [EN] In March 2026, I captured evening-sun footage of passenger trains at Sissach on Switzerland's historic Hauenstein Line. The route via Lรคufelfingen was once the main railway connection between Basel and Olten until the Hauenstein Base Tunnel opened in 1916. Today, the line is primarily served by S9 regional trains, while InterRegio and other long-distance passenger services are occasionally diverted over the old Hauenstein Line during closures of the base tunnel. This video features a variety of passenger train movements at Sissach station and along one of Switzerland's most historic railway lines.
